DESCRIPTION:
Let’s Explore Electrocardiograms is a simple simulator that lets learners of physiology explore their heart, by letting them “record” their own heartbeat. I was tasked with designing a feasible physiology simulator with an animated component, and this was what we produced for CEREGO while I was working at NYU Create Lab. I produced early mock-ups in Adobe Photoshop, and animations were created in After Effects. Vivi Yu programmed the app using HTML5, while Keisha Milsom finalized design elements in Adobe Illustrator. The most challenging aspect was probably lining up the timing of certain waves on the ECG with animated structures of the heart, with accurate timing.
